The recently opened rooms have the same attention to detail as the other places to stay in the Cubitt House group including panelled walls, colourful tiles, flannels and 100 Acres bath and body products.

8. The Grazing Goat:

Escape the hustle and bustle of London at The Grazing Goat, a charming pub nestled in the peaceful neighbourhood of Marylebone. This hidden gem offers a serene retreat where you can unwind with a refreshing drink or enjoy delicious food. With a menu inspired by the bountiful produce of the British countryside, The Grazing Goat menu celebrates simplicity and authenticity, a popular angle with its regulars. The burger is everything it should be: deliciously fresh brioche bun, lettuce, tomato, gherkin, perfectly cooked burger and house sauce. Simple and perfect with an accompaniment of perfectly cooked fries. The puddings are irresistible, so I chose the crumble with homemade custard.

All rooms have been refurbished and feature luxurious Cotswold Company Emperor and King-Size beds. Expect 100 Acres bath and body products, large bathrooms with walk-in showers, and free-standing baths in some bathrooms. This is the perfect choice for a night or two in the city for shopping, eating, and perhaps a little romance. The location is great—it’s just around the corner from Nobu in Portman Square, perfect for a cheeky cocktail. I will be staying here again in January 2025.
